We do not collect or retain audio recordings. When you record a spoken answer, the audio is transcribed in real time and then immediately discarded. Only the text transcript is stored.
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:
We do not use your personal information for any purpose that is incompatible with the purposes for which it was collected without first obtaining your consent.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. These providers access your data only as necessary to perform their services on our behalf:
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or prevent harm.
If Mobiusly Pty Ltd is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
When you use the spoken answer feature, your device records your voice response locally and transmits it for transcription. The audio file is not stored by us. Once your answer has been transcribed to text, the audio is discarded. We retain only the text transcript of your answer.
Text transcripts of your practice sessions, together with AI-generated feedback and scores, are stored in your account so you can review your progress over time. To delete individual sessions or your entire account and associated data, email us at privacy@interviewzap.com.
When you upload a CV or job description, the content is stored in your account and used to generate tailored interview questions for your sessions. This data is retained until you delete it or close your account. It is passed to Anthropic's API when generating your session questions.
We use analytics tools to understand how users interact with InterviewZap — which features are used, where people drop off, and how to improve the product. We have not yet finalised which analytics provider we use, but we will update this policy when that decision is made.
Analytics data is collected in aggregate and pseudonymised where possible. We do not use analytics data to build individual advertising profiles or share it with advertising networks.
You may be able to opt out of analytics collection through your browser settings or by using browser extensions that block tracking scripts.
